Or not. Just an update on the Charlie sleeping saga----He is NOT sleeping through the night, and has only done so a handful of times since the post about him sleeping through the night (what, early November? See, I can't even remember its been so long ago). He continues to wake up one to two times per night, eats --or dream feeds-- and is back to the land of nod. Oh well, sleep will come....
On a brighter note (and possibly related to Charlie waking during the night), Charlie took 3 steps on his own today and many other single step attempts throughout the day. He had taken one step on two separate occasions in the past week or so---but, today he was really going gung ho. Oh my, am I ready for this? I must admit that I teared up after he took those steps, as once he is walking I will no longer have my baby, but a toddler. Can I say "Oh my" again? Oh my. He turned 10 months old yesterday. Oh my. OK, I'll stop.
On a funny side note, Kingsley has taken to imitating Charlie trying to walk. We cheer Charlie on when he takes a step and he, of course, falls after such an attempt. I don't know if Kingsley thinks we are cheering on the falling, but that's what he will do---in grand dramatic fashion---so we cheer him on too. Such fun. The only way I got Kingsley to eat all of his applesauce the other day was to spoon-feed it to him (like I do Charlie). I guess a little (short-lived) regression never hurt anyone. Hopefully he will get some (more) much-needed attention when Barka (Grandpa) and Nana come to visit NEXT WEEK!
Pictures taken one month ago, when it was still NICE here. Today we had rain, highs in the 40's and there were cars and trucks at the local grocery store that had thick layers of wet snow on them (must have come down from the mountain). Yikes. I should have asked for winter clothing for the boys for Christmas. I'm not ready for this either.

Charlie and Sean must be two little peas in a pod. Sean also will NOT sleep through the night. He's been waking up 3 times a night!!! And walking better and better each day too. Go Charlie!!

I guess maybe the second time around is suppose to be harder if the first one was easy!! Samantha still wakes at least twice in the night also! As far as taking steps yay Charlie!! He's gonna be an early walker! Kingsley is too funny. I love it when they try to imitate the babies! Miss you guys.
I am just so glad I am not the only one whose 10 month old is not sleeping through the night, but that said I'm sorry that Charlie is not either. Same story here...
