Yes!!

I finally customized the header for this blog, not without a LOT of help from my fabulous Mom friends in San Diego (especially Ashley---thank you and besos!). I actually think I can post a link to my blog now so *some0ne* can view it besides me.

I hope to share more of our latest news since the big move----soon, all in good time. The boys are doing well besides the scary choking-on-a-grape incident for Charlie. Kingsley can name all colors now and can sing some songs by memory (not just the words, but the tune!). He still loves his match-box cars and anything with wheels (but also diggers). He asks for cake anytime we go grocery shopping (while passing the bakery) and the only way I can get him to come home from the park is to bribe him with orange juice---and a straw---loves to drink orange juice with a straw. He is favoring his left foot while kicking and his left hand while painting and drawing---hmmm.

Charlie started *actual* crawling yesterday. He attempted it twice and took about 5 crawling steps each time. I think he liked the sensation of getting his belly up off the ground. But, he soon resorted to the old stand-by, the army crawl, which he is very adept at. He is vocalizing more and more and it is funny. He has expanded his repetoire of solid foods to include (besides grapes): avocado, sweet potatoes, peas, rice and mixed grain cereal and the occasional paper napkin (book, mail, magazine, etc). Since moving to the crib a couple of weeks ago he has started waking one to two times per night again. He seems to be hungry and will nurse for about 30 minutes and go right back to sleep (or sleep while eating). I'm not sure what's going on, his six month growth spurt was a while ago---maybe he is burning more calories with all of his moving. Perhaps I'll try increasing his solids---something, I miss my sleep!

Speaking of sleep, I better go. I'll try to post some more again soon to get you caught up with all of the latest news in our lives. Until then, sweet dreams.
