We have lived in Monterey County for two months now.
I can hardly believe it.
We seem to fill our days quickly and my memories of Lake County already seem distant.
We love it here.
Jeremy likes his job.
There is so much to do, see, explore and enjoy.
It is beautiful.
But, we miss friends.
It is always difficult to start over some place new.
Perhaps we are having a slow start with finding new friends here because we mix it up so much.
We are still exploring and checking out new parks, new places to go.
This makes it difficult to meet and connect with the same people.
The time will come. I am not worried.
And having old friends--made new again--makes everything that much sweeter.
It is so fun to see all these little guys actually play with one another now.
So, a few pictures from out last outing together at Larkin Park in Monterey:
Marisol and Charlie in the tunnel.
The beautiful purple fairy.
Flynn doing fancy slide tricks.
Kingsley checking out Marisol's head band.
Our park outings usually include cars or trains of some sort.
Trying the tricycle.
The boys are so fast on their bikes now, it was difficult to fit them both in the frame!
Even if it takes a while to make new friends, we're pretty darn happy right now.
